We ask that the MCPSS School Board give us a step raise or monetary compensation in the form of a BONUS to remind us of how important and valuable we truly are to our system. This will be in direct relation to the extraordinary duties performed during the school year due to the COVID Pandemic.

We love our job! We love our schools, and more than anything we love our incredible and lovable students! But, what we also need is to feel appreciated and motivated by you…our School Board!

ALL full time staff including  Principals, teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria workers, custodians, bus drivers, and office workers have put in incredible effort and sacrifice to continue putting our students as our number one priority. We have learned new tech software, arrived early, stayed late, communicated with parents constantly, and put ourselves in direct contact with this deadly virus on a daily basis. 

This extraordinary compensation would mean a lot to all of our staff. We ask everyone including our supportive parents and local community members to encourage us by signing this petition.
