Today, shareholders, leadership, and board members will gather at the annual McDonald’s shareholder meeting in Dallas, Texas to vote on big decisions for the company in the next year.
After a year of successful plant-based “beef” launches by major fast-food chains and indicators from McDonald’s CEO, Steve Easterbrook, Americans are speculating that a plant-based burger might be on the agenda for the annual shareholder meeting.
A vote on a Mcvegan in the United States will be major progress for a company that has spent half a decade refusing to change its U.S menu to better reflect Americans changing diets.
And though each customer is not able to vote on a plant-based burger, we can still let McDonald’s know we want the McVegan.
Let’s leave a comment on McDonald’s latest Facebook post letting them know we want shareholders to vote on a plant-based burger. Feel free to use this message (s) below or draft your own:

Option 1:
I hope McDonald’s will listen to customer demand by voting on a plant-based burger at its annual shareholder meeting. If McDonald’s Germany, can quickly cater to the rising demand for delicious, plant-based burgers, McDonald’s the U.S. has no excuse.
Option 2:
I’m eagerly awaiting the announcement of a Mcvegan on U.S. menus. More than 200,000 customers have been asking for a plant-based burger and the shareholder meeting is the strategic time to announce it. Change.org/McVegan
