Speed Control and Resurfacing roads in Glen Eyre @ Franklin Twp

Speed Control and Resurfacing roads in Glen Eyre @ Franklin Twp
The Issue
We are residents of Glen Eyre @ Franklin Township, Somerset-NJ. The development is located off Cedar Grove Lane between Monet Court and Treptow Road.
We have motorists using our community as a short cut to avoid waiting at the traffic light at the intersection of Cedar Grove Lane and Treptow Road. They drive at speeds exceeding 40 MPH, endangering both children and adults who are walking or riding their bikes in the community.
On advise of Councilman Ram Anbarasan, we signed this petition requesting installation of warning signs, and enforcement of the 25 MPH speed limit (perhaps by installing a speed bump at the intersection of Cedar Grove and Monet Court, and on both ends of Rue Cezanne)?
Additionally, the development was constructed in 2001-2002 and our roads are now over 18 years old. There are many large and deep potholes, with weeds growing in the cracks/gaps in the road. Young children of our community ride their bikes on these streets, and can sustain serious injuries if they fall due to the abysmal road conditions. This is unbecoming of a community of which we are all proud residents. We also request resurfacing of our streets as the
