Across the country, peaceful protests have turned into violent riots often at the hands of the police department. In order to prevent such chaos, we the people of Washington demand that the police and National Gaurd to stand back and give Washingtonians a platform to safely and peacefully protest.

The police's confrontational presence through riot gear and aggressive behavior will only exacerbate the situation. We want these protests to be as safe as possible so that everyone feels safe and comfortable to share their voices. We the people of Washington demand minimal police presence and no riot gear in order to keep our people safe.
