Countless Texans are currently being impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.  People are facing layoffs, temporary work suspensions with no end in sight, and an overwhelming loss of income across the board as business shutter in response to the pandemic.  How are we supposed to make rent when we're not being payed?  How are we supposed to pay our bills, feed ourselves and our families when we have no source of income?

It is imperative that a rent, mortgage, and bill freeze be instituted NOW.  Governor Abbott and Mayor Turner, we ask that you suspend rent, evictions, mortgage payments, and utility bills while we are under a state of national emergency.
