Mosman Council Mayor has instructed Council workers to destroy the bike track which local kids have spent hundreds of hours of their own time to build.  They have built the track in this location because it is one of the only safe places for them to ride their bikes.  As parents, we support them taking the initiative to create safe and enjoyable recreation activities, especially in the absence of the Council not being prepared to do so.  We petition the Mayor of Mosman, Carolyn Corrigan to take this matter seriously and in the first instance stop destroying the kid’s good work and secondly look at building a dedicated bike track for the kids of Mosman.  Our kids are our future.  Many surrounding Councils have done a brilliant job of building bike tracks including Warringah, Willoughby, Ku-ring-Gai & Hornsby Councils.  These surrounding tracks are great but too far away for the Mosman kids to travel.  We intend to take this petition to the Mayor of Mosman, so she and the rest of the Councillors understand the importance of providing safe places for our kids to do healthy outdoor activities.  So if you want to support our kids having local, safe and fun activities to do, please sign this petition and share!
