Kyle Lowry is a Canadian icon and deserves to be treated like one. With the Raptors, he has been a six-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2016. Lowry won an NBA championship with Toronto in 2019, their first title in franchise history. He was a member of the U.S. national team that won a gold medal in the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Lowry's tenacious playing style has often earned him comparisons to a pit bull or bulldog, with many citing his toughness, leadership, and instinct for winning plays on the court. Ever since his arrival in Toronto, he has lead the team into the promise land and put them in a position to win it all once again in the 2019-2020 season. His play style embodies our country perfectly; relativity small but tough and relentless. In completely hopeless moments, he comes in clutch time and time again. It is such an honour to have him as a part of the Raptors organization and deserves to be recognized in the most honourable way possible.

That is why I ask the City of Toronto, Doug Ford, or Justin Trudeau himself to commission a statue IMMEDIATELY. This athlete perfectly embodies Canadian values and has only strengthened the love of basketball across Canada. And there would be no better place to honor him than right here, at Jurassic Park.
