Last year a contract was awarded to Corizon, a Tennessee-based for-profit company, to supply healthcare services to D.C. Jail.  Amid growing concerns over Corizon's ineffectual delivery of healthcare and hundreds of malpractice lawsuits brought against the company, Mayor Gray withdrew the contract submission before the D.C. council could vote on it.

Please sign this petition in support of his request that she restart the RFP for this contract. Providing D.C. inmates with quality, caring healthcare not only benefits D.C. Inmates, it benefits the entire District of Columbia.
