We  urgently request the reopening of the blocks that have been closed from 13th Street to 14 PL. The closure has turned our area into a cul-de-sac, significantly diminishing its value and appeal. Additionally, the adjacent commercial building at 1501 Collins Avenue remains abandoned, with businesses closed and no investors willing to revitalize it, making our block increasingly desolate.

We fully support the judge’s decision to reopen these blocks and urge you not to pursue any appeal using our taxes. Reopening these blocks will restore the vibrancy and value of our neighborhood and ensure it thrives once again.

We urge you to consider our request for the benefit of our community, our local businesses and visitors.
