There will be an opportunity for public input into the City's "Corrosion Control Plan" on Dec 16 from 6-8pm at the North End Rec Centre at 954 Huron Avenue. Representatives from the City, the Health Unit, and the Ministry of the Environment will be in attendance. IT IS INPORTANT THAT WE ATTEND THIS MEETING IN LARGE NUMBERS! It may be the last chance to let the City know our concerns and opposition to this test! I finally got confirmation today , dec.4, that the chemicals will begin to be added into the water supply on the week of January 11 . Please people come to this meeting on Dec 16th ! Voice your concerns ! It may not affect many people now , but will begin city wide by next year and then it will be too late to stop it ..from all our investigations , (many listed on the petition letter submitted to Hobbs found here) this is not necessary, nor the way to go!
