I am Raquel Davis a pleading mother of 7 kids of West Sacramento/Southport! 

I'm petitioning the City of West Sacramento and the community to build a Skate Park for our Youth. 

Currently there is not a skate/multi-use park or even free tennis courts in Southport, which is causing our teens to find other places to skate and hang out. The current one we do have in West Sacramento is not in the best condition for families of young children and teens. 

I am pleading out to all to come together to make this happen. My son and his friends have dealt with neighbors calling the cops on them for skating in front of my house. These boys should not have the cops called on them, they are not criminals and shouldn't be treated like criminals. 

My solution would fix both sides to this problem. The neighbors who have called the cops would get a break from hearing the kids skateboard and the kids would have a close to home park to skate. These kids are incredible and so worth the investment.

Please come together and sign this petition to allow our West Sacramento Families and Youth to have a free skate park to go to close to their homes!
