I am asking everyone to sign and be the voice of all Dogs locked in cages in the Garages of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and backyards 24/7. The law is written that when it is over 100 degrees with the heat index they are to be brought in the house. I have called Animal Controll and the Police of Port Saint Lucie County many times as a neighbor on my street at 362 NW Camrose St. Has 4 to 5 Pitbulls Dogs in one small cage in his Garage in this extreme heat. I have called several times as this law is not being enforced. A Police Officer told me if I called again I would be arrested for harassment. These Dogs bark and cry all the time as AC says as long as they put a fan to blow the hot air around this is legal. 
Please  help by putting your signature for all Dogs being kept in over 100 degrees in garages or in back yards even in outdoor porches over 100 degrees with the heat index.THIS IS THE LAW AND IT IS NOT BEING ENFORCED. THIS IS EXTREME CRUELTY KEEPING DOGS IN OVER 100 DEGREES. 

I have called the Mayor, spoke with the executive secretary of the mayor 3 times and left a message for my congresswoman to call me back. I have gone to a City Council meeting  and begged for help and all I have gotten is a threat to be arrested for harassment when I don’t harass the people. I call to ask for this law to be enforced. I believe even 85 to 99 degrees is extreme cruelty even though it is legal but 100 and above is against the law and these Dogs do not have a voice to change their suffering.... I hear them crying in misery day and night as I live across the street.
