Chickens in Papillion, NE

Chickens in Papillion, NE
The Issue
At this time chickens are not allowed in the city of Papillion, NE. In light of our countries current situation with past Covid-19, and now the prices in eggs increasing. I would like to see this change in Papillion, NE. Residents should have the right and pleasure to raise egg laying chickens and chickens meant for meat. As fresh eggs are healthier and delicious.
Chickens will allow people out of work an opportunity to keep their minds busy. Chickens will not only give purpose to families in the area, but also provide a food source for those without a steady income. They also eat japanese beetles. We need to go back to the basics.
Most of the Omaha & Bellevue areas already allow them. Chicken hens are quiet. They provide an amazing opportunity for education and responsibility for kiddos as well.
If you have a moment, please sign this petition to provided a great opportunity for families across the wonderful community of Papillion,NE.
