Dear Friends of Food Trucks and Small Business, 

It was a short week with the President's Day Holiday but we got a lot accomplished. We surpassed 3,000 signatures on this petition which we never imagined we would when we started. Thanks to you and all of your friends and family that you shared the petition with. Please do more of that this weekend to help us reach our next goal!

This is already a huge number because Councilwoman Olivia Diaz (who is delaying this due to unreasonable pressure from special interests) was elected in 2019 with 1,359 votes:

Winner: Diaz, Olivia (51.40%, 1,359 votes)
Clary, Melissa (48.60%, 1,285 votes)

We heard that Ms. Diaz was asked to join a virtual town hall with opponents and management of the project and so far she has not accepted that gracious invitation that was extended several times over the last 2 months...
