The Mayor’s office of legal counsel has filed a report that former Deputy Mayor John Falcicchio, Director of DMPED Office of Planning and Economic Development, did, in fact, sexually harass a female employee. We, the Friends of the Frank Reeves Center, consider this an extraordinarily poor judgment and a revealing character flaw. This goes to the heart of credibility for Mr. Falcicchio, and we urge the council and all DC oversight agencies to review the 2nd RFP for the Reeves Center that was completely flawed in its issuances.  We urge this District of Columbia City Council to withhold any land disposition agreements of the Reeves Center redevelopment until this matter is fully investigated.
