Mayo county council still ignoring petitioners

As you know Mayo coco steadfastly refuses to accept the idea of a greenway on the closed railway from Claremorris to Charlestown.  Sligo Coco supports the greenway idea but at the moment is getting blocked due to a handbrake turn by Irish Rail to pull the plug on the Sligo greenway.  We need to get Sligo started up, and we need Mayo Coco to start listening.  Mayo council supported a Velorail but not a greenway under a licensed agreement with Irish Rail.  Now we are challenging Irish Rail - if you support a velorail why not a greenway.
