Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to thank you so much for your support on this petition! 

You’ve probably seen that L’Oreal (Maybelline’s parent company) has replied to my petition, and I know this has caused some confusion that I want to clear up.

Although it may be true that Maybelline does not perform animal testing in the United States, they still allow for their products to be tested on animals in China. It is for this reason that Maybelline is not listed as a cruelty-free company nor has cruelty-free labels on their products. Do not let their statement confuse you. 

Maybelline is still complicit in animal testing, and as long as their company allows their products to be sold in China, they will not be a cruelty-free company.

Now is the time to continue to apply pressure to Maybelline! They have seen this petition. They have responded. This is a huge step towards the impact we want. Speak up and tell Maybelline to stop selling their products in China and allowing them to be tested on animals!
