Now that the worst of the pandemic has passed, we hope, it is time to kickstart this petition. What has prompted me is what happened on Monday. I went to the Pharmacy to collect my husband's repeat prescription, had to exit with the meds quickly due to Covid distancing control, got home and found four boxes of the wrong meds in the bag, got in the car and went straight back to return them and was told 'sorry they will have to be destroyed due to Covid fears'. More waste.

There is no time limit for this petition because it does not require an Act of Parliament or a debate or any expensive remedy. It simply asks the NHS/ Department of Health to distribute an information leaflet I have designed, giving people simple times on how to manage their meds and save waste. In the aftermath of the pandemic and at this time of economic devastation it is even more important that we do everything to reduce waste and save resources.
