A very happy new year to all. I have not made any new year's resolutions apart from pledging not to be faint hearted about this petition. I believe there is a small breakthrough, in that both the people I contacted, at my local CCG in Leyland, Lancashire, and NHS England,  have agreed to pass the details on to the relevant department to look into my request for a nationwide campaign to inform and educate the public to reduce waste. Whereas this petition has not attracted very many signatures on line, signatures on paper from my local community are growing and the message is getting out - which really is the ultimate goal. So please do bring up the topic as and when appropriate when you are in company. Or continue to share the petition when you can.
