Hey Save Myall Road Bushland Supporters

Thanks to all who signed this online petition in the past. We have just collected 500 written on paper signatures to have tabled in NSW Upper House by Sue Higginson MLC on Thursday 24th Aug, we call on the NSW Government to act for this land to be protected as a reserve and to intervene in Landcom's proposed destruction. 

It is a pity our online supporters signatures were not enough to have this done in the first place, but hey let's see how we go with the NSW Greens Support. 

This is what we are asking the NSW Upper House to do:

1.Request the Federal Minister for the Environment to refuse consent for 
the conditional approval of the development under S.145 of the EPBC Act.

2. Place a stop work order at the site until a complete review of this conditional approval is conducted by independent ecological consultants, to 
establish the impact on all threatened species in the area.

3. Direct the NSW DPE to re-evaluate the Planning Panel’s decision regarding conditional approval of the development, applying the 7-part test 
under the NSW TSC Act by independent consultants.

4. Direct NSW DPE & LMCC to rezone the area of Bushland E2, Environmental Conservation and to develop the whole area of 39.4ha for community recreation and biodiversity conservation.
