On Tuesday 8 Dec the Regional Planning Panel met to consider the DA for the destruction of the Cardiff/Garden Suburbs bush. I along with around 7 or 8 others spoke to the panel against the development, no members of the public spoke in favour. The panel then heard from Landcom and their hired consultants. Landcom admitted there were no examples of best practise that they could speak about within the development when asked by the panel to highlight any. 

Local resident, Guy Finn had managed to obtain 1600 signatures against the development at that time adding to this petition and other collected signatures totaled around 2000 people against.

The panel is expected to announce their decision by the middle of next week. I will advise as soon as I know the decision via https://saveourbush.wixsite.com/my-site/actions
