At 11:59pm Monday June 8th, New Zealand will drop to COVID Alert Level 1. Under Alert Level 1 there are no major restrictions on the general public (excluding border controls). Even at Level 2, schools and most businesses were able to return to normal. There are no compelling reasons for Massey to continue to keep campuses closed and lectures online. This is having a major impact on the quality of education being gained, and the ability of students to learn.  Essentially, students are paying for a product (on campus learning) that they are not receiving. In some cases, labs aren't offering enough spaces for all enrolled students which is simply not good enough. 

This survey is asking Massey to return to Business as Usual, in line with the government recommendations, and the product their students have paid for. Students should be able to study on campus as per their enrollment. There should be no limits on labs. This is line with the government recommendations and within the guidelines of COVID Alert Level 1.
