Massachusetts is one of very few states in this country that does not allow people to hunt on Sunday. What we are doing is trying to change that. For your average working man or woman, Sunday may be their only day off and therefore the only time they can hunt. For this reason many people may not even begin getting into hunting or have to stop because they can’t get out enough. Allowing people to hunt on Sundays will not have any detrimental effects on the wildlife population. Lastly, opening up Sunday hunting would bring more money to the state’s economy, a large number of people can just jump over to neighboring states that allow Sunday hunting taking there money and business with them.
