Happy New year to everyone supporting this petition on behalf of our beloved Dire. After several failed attempts to reach our Delegates on the phone and email. I decided to visit Maryland House of Delegates today, Monday, January 4th, 2016. After passing through the security check, I told the security that I would like to see Delegates Holmes and Vallario; he directed me to Joseph Vallario's office first and then to Delegate Holmes. Vallario's office was opened and there was an instruction on the desk stated to "wait someone will there to help" I waited for about 7 minutes no one to help, I left for Delegate Holmes office on the 3rd floor room 313; his office was locked without any further information. Fortunately, Delegate Adrienne A. Jones (Speaker Pro Tem) office was opened and I knocked on her door for assistance. She let me into her office and I explained the purpose of my visit to the House of Delegates, she was receptive and warm towards me. She informed me that Delegate Holmes had just lost his brother and also that the House of Delegates is currently not in session but they are scheduled to resume new session Wednesday January 13, 2016. She also walked me down to Delegate Walker's office hoping that he was available to help out unfortunately he wasn't available. Dear friends, family and the Community Voice at large, let us continue to send emails, phone calls and visit the House of Delegates as soon as they resume next Wednesday.
