For far too long, the Police in Prince George's County, Maryland have blatantly disregarded law and regulations when responding to police calls, or just making 'routine stops'. These Police Officers racially profile, and use illegal intimidation tactics to scare citizens into compliance with unlawful arrests, seizures and citations. At any given time of day you can find 30 Police cars congregating at the BP Gas Station on Route 450 just sitting there, fighting NO crime. Whenever you see them pull over a minority, they automatically call 5 cars for backup and they intimidate citizens into paying them money. They falsely imprison people for intimidation, only to let them go without charges. I have personally been victimized, threatened with GUNS, threatened with jail-time, and unlawfully followed back to my home by Prince George's Police who were conducting themselves far outside the guidelines of the LAW. I am currently living in fear for my life, which no law-abiding citizen should ever have to live in. Especially not from the organization that is supposed to PROTECT and SERVE the PEOPLE. My sister has also been victimized just last week, having her windows busted out of her car by Prince George's Police during a 'Training Exercise" and having her Fiance taken to jail without explanation.

If we do not raise public attention to these incidents, it is very possible that these dirty and dangerous Police can and will cause harm to my family, believing no retribution is to come. Just last night the incident below occurred to me:

"PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY POLICE CAR 4051 HAS UNLAWFULLY TAKEN MY FRIEND AWAY AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE, THEY THREATENED ME WITH A GUN, AND THREATENED TO THROW ME IN JAIL FOR ASKING WHY MY FRIEND WAS BEING TAKEN. I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE WEARING AN ORANGE JUMPSUIT TONIGHT IF I SAID ANOTHER WORD. NO RIGHTS WERE READ TO MY FRIEND, AND NO ARREST WAS MADE. I CALLED TO ASK FOR A POLICE SUPERVISOR, AND THE SAME POLICE THEN SHOWED UP AT MY HOME AND BANGED ON MY DOOR FOR ME TO COME BACK OUTSIDE BECAUSE I CALLED THE POLICE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR. I HAD TO CALL THE DISPATCHER SUPERVISOR AND EXPLAIN THE SITUATION AGAIN, AND THE DISPATCHER FINALLY ASKED THE OFFICER TO LEAVE. 5 MINUTES LATER THE OFFICER WAS STILL STARING INTO MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW MENACINGLY.

MY LIFE IS BEING THREATENED RIGHT NOW, POLICE ARE STALKING MY HOUSE AND I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW. PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY POLICE CAR 4051 AND ALL CARS THAT RESPONDED TO THE 911 CALL FROM LARGO TOWNE CENTER AT APPROXIMATELY 10:28PM IN LARGO MARYLAND ARE ALL INVOLVED IN THIS. IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO ME, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I POSTED THIS." 9/11/2013

This morning, my friend was released this morning from jail, with NO CHARGES made. My sister's fiance was also released with NO CHARGES made. However, these dirty Police Officers now know where I live, and have high hostility towards me for bringing their actions to the attention of their superiors. As I said before, I am currently in fear of my life. Police do not have the right to treat citizens this way.

We are not the "subjects" of the Police. We are the SPONSORS of the Police. When the Police begin to break the law, and are no longer defending our rights; it is our DUTY to stop supporting those Police and bring them to justice. Doing nothing will result in more cases like Oscar Grant, who was shot in the back while handcuffed and lying on his stomach. The Police Officer who murdered him served only 2 years in prison, because he said he "Meant to taze him, not shoot him".  

Doing Nothing will result in more cases like 60-Year Old Roy Middleton who was shot in his driveway while getting cigarettes out of his car. Police said they thought he was "stealing his own car' and opened fire, killing the elderly man. We MUST put an end to these atrocities. Badges DO NOT Grant Extra Rights! Please Help!
