Mary Person’s students have been dyeing their hair natural colors for years but let’s face it; do we want to continue at a school that won’t allow students to express themselves with the use of hair dye?

Hair dye does nothing to a students grades. The grades are affected by other peers not doing what they want to or directed to do so, problems that people have created. Hair dye has nothing to do with any of that. If a student dyes their hair an unnatural color at Mary Persons High School, they won’t be allowed back until they have fixed said hair color back to a natural color.

Are we just going to continue to let the school affect OUR GRADES due to hair color?! The school just punishes students that have unnatural hair color by just simply kicking them out. Affecting their chances of graduation, getting good grades, getting into good colleges. These colleges look at thing like attendance, not the color of your hair! 

Mary Persons should be focusing on the real problems, not the color of your hair! Save the suspension and ISS for the students who doesn’t want to do anything in class or the students who fight. 

How are we, the students of Mary Persons High School, going to let the school dictate our hair colors?
