9 months have passed since Liz was investigated by Governor Brown's office and she continues to feel hopeful that he will commute her Life Without Parole sentence. Liz wanted to share a message of gratitude for all her supporters, as well as this photo of her aunt and #1 supporter, Heidi. "...so here is a beginning, something I want you all to know about me and where my heart is. This journey has been long and often times very emotional, filled with guilt, struggle and hurt. But today, even being here, I feel so much stronger about freer than I ever did. I feel good about myself. I have confidence, courage and strength of character. The struggle and hurt has been transformed. Not a day goes by that I do not think about the choices I have made. I can never undo the harm and hurt but I choose to live my life touching and healing lives in word and action. This choice - wow - it has brought about many blessings. I am blessed to share what I've learned with so many women, to teach and mentor, and give back. It is a feeling unlike any other! Making a difference in even one life is worth it. I'm sure each of you can relate. I'm reflecting on all your support and words; so many different 'walks of life' expressing unity in belief. You all are powerful and can make a difference. You already have in my life. I consider each and everyone of you a blessing. Thank you. -Liz"
