The Global Goals are a continuation of the Millennium Goals which were originally set up in 2000 by the United Nations.  There are 17 Global Goals which each focus on a different issue.  We aim to achieve these goals by 2030. We are focusing on Global Goal #1 - No Poverty.  We aim to end poverty in It's entirety by 2030.  Poverty affects people locally, nationally and globally. In order for us to contribute towards helping those living in poverty we need to raise awareness of the issue in order for people to recognise how serious a problem it is. We hope that world leaders can come together to make changes in Government to help those who need it most. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die every day due to poverty...this needs to STOP!
