WhatsApp is the de facto standard for mobile communication with more messages sent than SMS.

WhatApp wants to stop the service for all Android 2.1, Windows Phone 7 and Nokia Symbian and Blackberry phones before the end of 2016.

There are worldwide 10 Million WhatsApp Users affected, who are then blocked from WhatsApp and could throw their phone away, not including the iPhone Users with an OS below iOS 6 who already have been cut off.

There are Worldwide more Symbian Users than Windows Phone Users.
