BBC Asian Network presenter Bobby Friction uses the term "Sikh Taliban" to describe some Sikhs discussing interfaith marriages. The term is highly irresponsible and in an era of race hate attacks, such as that on Sarandev Bhambra by a white supremacist and the Oak Creek massacre in Wisconsin, United States where Sikhs were killed again by a white supremacist, very dangerous.

These comments put at risk the Sikhs of today and in the future as the average person can pick up on such terms and make misconceptions. The Sikhs have made a huge contribution to British society including sacrifices in both world wars and we deserve better then to be labelled as murderous, rapists and slave traders.
