Under Contract Several residents have noticed the "Under Contract" addition to the for-sale sign at 68th & Carr. "Property can be put under contract and/or sold without approval by the City," wrote Rob Smetana, Arvada Planning Manager who heads up the City's involvement in the project. "However, development can not take place until a plan is approved." The City's first review of the application is complete, and comments were provided to the developer to be addressed. Per Rob, "With projects of this type, there are at least two reviews." Drilling Then what about the drilling taking place today? Several neighbors reported trucks driving around the site and drilling holes. (See photo.) Since the photo, there are stakes and orange marker flags around the property.
