A developer has submitted a proposal to the City of Arvada to rezone the vacant land area near W. 68th Ave. and Carr St. Their proposal is to build 12 townhouse units and 14 duplex units. Current zoning for this location allows single-family homes.

As concerned Arvada citizens living in the neighborhoods surrounding this proposed land use re-zoning, we hereby formally oppose any change of the current R-L zoning of this land.

We firmly believe that the land use that would be most appropriate and compatible with the surrounding neighborhoods would be to maintain the present R-L zoning designation, allowing only detached single-family homes.
