Idleness:

Micheals continues delay and ignore all outcries from their employees serving in stores and the distribution centres. We demand that you address the following:

  1. Close stores BEFORE governments mandates all non-essential businesses to close.
  2. Make clear and consistent statements on how you plan on supporting ALL your employees, especially those who are hourly with no benefits, address compensation during isolation, quarantine, lockdown, and closures. 
  3. Stop telling employees to use their vacation hours or sick days as compensation when none of those are applicable.
  4. Acknowledge that Personal Protection Equipment, hand sanitizers, and other supplies are more crucial for medical workers trying to save lives than it is for the operation of your stores.
  5.
