First and foremost we would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, ESSENTIAL front line workers on both sides of the border during this uncertain time.
We will continue to effectively and proactively support and protect those whom are saving lives and those whom are at high risk.

What does that mean during a pandemic you may ask? Here is a list for what Michaels employees are asking for:
Listening and responding to all the outcries on your social medias from concerned citizens about closing your stores.
Close stores BEFORE governments mandates all non-essential businesses to close
Make clear and consistent statements on how you plan on supporting ALL your employees, especially those who are hourly with no benefits, address compensation during isolation, quarantine, lockdown, and closures.
Telling employees to use their vacation hours or sick days as compensation when none of those are applicable is unethical
Acknowledge that Personal Protection Equipment, hand sanitizers, and other supplies are more crucial for medical workers trying to save lives than it is for the operation of your stores
Help your employees do what is right for our community and stop the rate of transmission by closing your stores
By continuing to roll out minor insignificant changes to their operations and expecting that the general population comply by social distancing measures is not only risky, but also dangerous. By delaying closures to your stores your are pressuring the governments to retract all civil liberties from citizens.
Time for you to act effectively and immediately.
