The murderer is free and we are continuing to grieve for the loss of our family member. A good citizen of Arizona, business owner, father of 3 and a loving husband.

The little girl in this picture is 9 years old. She is daddy’s little princess. He promised to take her to the movies that night if she went to work landscaping with him, so she did. After work she was riding her bike outside being followed by her cute fluffy dog while dad worked on a machine and watched her. She went inside and heard gunshots… he did not get to take her to the movies, she never got to hold her dad again.

The tall handsome man in the black hat is a Recent graduate of ASU. He is currently expecting a child of his own. He had moved out with his girlfriend and just had a birthday in February. Life was going good. On March 10th he got a call from his dad saying he needed help. When he arrived his father was laying dead on the ground covered in blood. His dad will never meet his grandbaby.

The young dashing guy in the white is the youngest boy, or Man now. He just turned 18 in February and looks just like his dad. He is a hard worker and taking over Dads business. He had called 911 for help earlier that day because of a crazy neighbor harassing him and help never arrived. When he got home cops were swarming all over but it was too late, his dad had been killed for no reason at all by that same neighbor.

The beautiful woman in his picture is my sister. She met this man when she was only 16 years old and has been with him ever since. He worked in Landscaping in scoldering AZ heat and took care of the kids so my sister could finish her degree. The picture you see in whole is last year, their 25th wedding anniversary. They together traveled the world never left each others side. In March she ventured away on her first trip without him and led our trip to Rome to make our Mothers dream come true. Our mom has dementia and its rapidly progressing. We had to take her before she wouldn’t remember. We were having a great time, he had just Facetimed her to show off what him and his daughter were having for dinner and to tell her he was going to run to the bank and deposit more money for us because he was worried we would all get stuck because of the COVID shutdown. She was excited to go home and see him. She got a call from her oldest son “mom dad is dead the neighbor shot him.” The bank deposit slip was found in his pocket. Her world was over. Her heart was shattered.

One life forever gone, many lives are changed and is disarray. This is only his immediate family he has 10 brothers and sisters, a mother, a father with Alzheimer’s whom he helped care for, a successful Landscaping company with long time clients and employees who relied on him. Many, many other family, friends, colleagues, clients, and acquaintances.

His life was taken away by ONE MAN, a neighbor, a man who had no reason to walk the long stretch to Isidro’s house with his handgun and take his life. Another man was with him, another immediate neighbor. They are both free. Why? It is a fact it was him, he said so himself. There are witnesses. There is camera footage. But where is JUSTICE? Where is an ARREST? Where is an EXPLANATION? Where is an ANSWER?

I understand investigations take time but its been since March. There is a similar case in Buckeye handled by MSCO where a Black man shot a White man and was immediately booked, and refused a lower bond because the family of the victim felt they would be in danger. Yet Isidro’s killer is free, with his right to bear arms, living down the street from the family. Down the street where he killed Isidro. Isidro is a Naturalized US Citizen who originates frmiom Mexico. He was murdered by a White man who is married to a Physician’s Assistant who used to serve as a Military Police officer, could this be why they think it can be swept under the rug? Race, Color, Gender, Nationality aside everyone deserves justice. He and his family deserve justice.

I ask you to help us, Please help us get the word out contact the Maricopa Sheriff’s Department (602) 876-1000 or via email: ProfessionalStandardsBureau@mcso.maricopa.gov and ask why justice has not been served as of yet.

Fox 10 News: BUCKEYE, Ariz. - Days before Arizona's stay-at-home order went into effect, a Buckeye husband and father was shot dead outside his home.

On Monday, FOX 10's Steve Nielsen spoke with the widow of Isidro Meza, who wants to know why there hasn’t been an arrest.Evangelina Meza says her family knows who killed her husband, and that is why she wants justice now.

For Evangelina and her late husband, it was a perfect love story, with Isidro asking Evangelina to dance at first.

It was the first time she was swept off her feet.

"It was definitely love at first sight," Evangelina recounted.

A year later, they were married. They had three children and the Buckeye family started traveling the world.

"He had all the qualities of a husband, father, friend," said Evangelina. "I never imagined I would be here without him."

On March 10, Evangelina says she was in Italy and called Isidro for help getting back home to them because the country was locking down. After they hung up, the time stamp on their home surveillance video shows two people walking up to the house.

Evangelina claims one is a person they’ve had disputes with. She woke up at 1:00 a.m. to a phone call from her oldest son.

"He’s dead. He has no pulse, mom. He’s just laying in a puddle of mud," Evangelina said, recounting the phone call.

Isidro, a father of three, was dead.

"Now I’m going to be a grandma, and my husband is never going to see," said Evangelina, crying. "It’s heartbreaking. Heartbreaking."

The Maricopa County Sheriffs Office is investigating. On Monday, officials say no charges have been submitted yet.

Evangelina, meanwhile, wants answers now.

"First, it was coronavirus. Now, the protest. Everything has taken priority over justice for Isidro. That’s all I want: justice," said Evangelina. "How am I going to keep on going? I see my nine-year-old daughter and I know I need to be strong for her. I need to keep on going for her."

There were reports a man was taken into custody the night Isidro died but was not charged. FOX 10 has asked asked MCSO on who the man was, but officials have yet to respond.
