Thank you for your support! It was your emails to the Commissioner, signing this petition (as held by Commissioner Gomez Cordero in the picture shown), and attendance at the public hearing that made it clear. The community wants to extend Ward Road. 

Unanimously, the Commission voted to move forward with the Preliminary Subdivision Plan and shared the extension of Ward Road had been planned for over 20 years. 

There was an ask of the developer and the District 4 staff to evaluate opportunities to address potential traffic flow issues that may arise and to minimize the impact of neighbors that live on Ward Road. As the process continues, we will keep you up to date.
