I am writing to you from the United States. I attempted to sign a petition asking you to put an end to Spain's practice of bullfighting. Because I am not a citizen of the UK, I was unable to sign that petition so I am creating my own. I have seen bullfighting as a cruel and barbaric act since I was a child and first saw bullfighting on television. Being a lover of all animals, it made me ill as a child to see the cruelty inflicted on these beautiful animals. It makes me ill to this day to see the barbaric treatment of these awesome creatures. I know I am not the only one in this country who believes the treatment of the bulls is cruel, torturous, barbaric and inhumane! It is my hope that you will put an end to the horrific treatment these bulls are forced, against their will, to endure. Thank you for your attention in this matter and my greatest hope is that you feel something deep inside your soul that will cause you to stop allowing these creatures of God to be tortured and dying after a fight they will NEVER win.
