Stop Sprint from Charging a Spending Limit Charge

The Issue

Sprint is charging a spending limit fee, of $7.99, in a program they created and explained as: "for customers who does not have the best credit." It can also be applied to accounts with a history of late payments or if you paid a discounted deposit for example of $50 vs. the regular deposit of $200, at the time of service initiation. These are the three reasons that Sprint gives for why a customer is automatically placed in the $7.99 per month Spending Limit Program. (Please keep in mind this is in addition to their late fee.)
They state that the only way to avoid the fee is to enroll in their monthly automatic payment program. The problem is that Sprint never explained this to their customers prior to enrolling them in their wireless service nor do they inform customers that they have been enrolled into this mandatory program with few options out.
Force Sprint to explain this to every customer that will be charged and placed in their Spending Limit Program-specifically that unless enrolled in their monthly bank account auto withdrawal payment plan, the fee is unending, accumulating to hundreds and thousands of dollars over a span of time and to return the millions of dollars they exhorted from their past unaware customers in this practice. This they claim could have been avoided with a $200-$300 deposit instead of the discounted amount but they never disclose this information or the financial discrepancy, of the program, to potential incoming customers.  They close the sale without disclosing that.
Sign this petition to stop Sprint from building revenue through the practice of unethical, misleading business actions.
