Manningham Councillors are asking the community to decide if they get an increase in their allowances.
Councillors do less and less these days: officers answer their correspondences, there are far fewer committees for them to attend, many have little contact with the community, it’s difficult and almost impossible at times to get a return phone call or email 
Do you agree to:
1.The Mayor' s allowance increasing from $81,204 to $100,434 plus $ 9541 Superannuation. For this money being mayor should be a fulltime job. 
2. Councillor allowance increasing from $26,245 to $31,444 plus $2987 Superannuation 

This increase is far more than the average increase that hard working manningham families are in their annual review - The gravy train has to stop! We need councillors who are there for the community not for the cash and extra benefits
