Cinemas, being a pervasive outlet for entertainment, influence all social strata significantly. Currently, these multiplexes feature anti-smoking warnings prior to the commencement of films and during intervals to inculcate a sense of deterrence against smoking. While important, there's an opportunity to address another pressing issue-- sexual assault and the need for consent education. An alarming increase in sexual assault incidents underscores its virulence. By leveraging the mass reach of cinema, we can generate awareness about consent and prevent such heinous crimes. We propose replacing or alternatively showing, along with the anti-smoking ads, videos that educate about sexual assault, rape and consent. Such a move would significantly increase the visibility of this disregarded issue and initiate essential discussions over it. It's not only about being aware, but taking the right steps towards prevention and education.
