We cracked 15,000 signatures in FIVE DAYS!

This petition won’t quit! Last night we hit a huge milestone, 15k signatures! And it's still climbing fast! But the petition is just one part of the push to get teacher-librarians securely in our schools. This week we’ve seen interviews on ABC, TV news and an amazing article by Nova Weetman in the Guardian, and there’s more to come.

How did we create so much noise? Simple. It's being pushed by many people nationwide in many ways, big and small and all of it makes a difference. People want qualified-teacher librarians in our schools. We’re in the midst of a reading crisis so it’s vital we advocate for their roles. Teacher-Librarians build reading cultures, foster critical thinking and imagination. Thanks for sharing and supporting this campaign! Onward!
