BIG support for Mandate Teacher-Librarian Petition!

We are thrilled to announce that as of last night this petition has the official the support of Australia Reads, Australian Library and Information Association and Australian Coalition for School Libraries! And in other good news, it’s going gangbusters with over 12,500 signatures in just a few days!

The support for this issue is real.  But we need to keep the momentum building so we can take this groundswell to both state and federal Departments of Education.

We need qualified teacher-librarian in our schools, alongside the wonderful library support teams, creating reading cultures for students. Thanks for sharing and supporting this campaign! Onward!
