Thank you, everyone!  This week, WOR discussed the danger of law-breaking bikers (not all cyclists, of course) and the threat they present to pedestrians.  The NY Post published an article this week on similar threats to safety, and even went so far as to support a ban on E-bikes.

“E-bikers in my Upper East Side neighborhood play a game of chicken. Ha, ha! Let’s see how close I can come to crippling you without hitting you!  But there’s nothing funny about it.” —Steve Cuozzo, NY Post, May 14, 2022

Tom Brady posted a video about his NYC ride on his social media channels a few days ago, chastising another biker for not stopping for a pedestrian at a crosswalk.

Manhattan is renowned for being the greatest walking city in the country.  We have countless laws to protect pedestrians, let’s see that they are enforced.

We don’t need more laws, we need to enforce the ones in place. The license plate requirement for bikes and scooters can relieve police officers from ticketing, and put the task in the hands of the public (phone cameras) and technology (311 app)

Thank you, again, for your support!
