I am a young, bisexual girl with dreams and aspirations just like any other individual. My dream is to grow up and earn the same amount of money as anyone else in my position would - regardless of their age, gender, race or beliefs. This is not just my fight; it's a battle that millions around the world are fighting every day.

In 2020 alone, women earned only 81 cents for every dollar earned by men (source: U.S. Census Bureau). This wage gap widens even further when we consider factors such as race and disability. It's high time we address this systemic injustice.

We demand that our governments enact laws requiring equal pay for everyone in the same job/position - irrespective of age, gender, race, culture beliefs or disabilities, background, etc. Everyone deserves equal opportunities and fair remuneration for their work.
