I started a petition because I've seen firsthand how CPS decisions can devastate families without enough understanding of real parenting challenges. My family went through something that changed how I think about this system. A CPS worker with no children visited my sister's house twice—my kids were there temporarily while I dealt with personal matters. My daughter had missed 112 days of school due to suspensions, expulsions, and school transfers without bus routes. We were also recovering from being hit by a drunk driver. These were extraordinary circumstances. But the judgment came fast, and it felt like there was no empathy for what we were actually dealing with. This isn't even my first time fighting false CPS allegations—I've won the previous two cases, and I'm confident about this one too. That's why I'm asking lawmakers to require CPS workers to have lived parenting experience. People making decisions that tear families apart deserve to understand the real complexity of raising kids. If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing. Have you or someone you know been through something similar? I'd genuinely like to hear your story.
