To whom it may concern,  

It is a deeply personal issue for us - the innocent residents of Seymour, Indiana - who have been labelled due to the unfair and questionable drug tests conducted by the community correction programs (Redwood laboratories). People, including friends and family among us, have been unjustly accused of using drugs. These community correction programs allege that these are confirmation tests, however many among us, unequivocally deny the use of substances. Our trust has been further eroded as the lab conducting these tests, Redwood, has previously  been and is still under scrutiny for falsifying drug test results. 

It is necessary to note that in previous circumstances, such as in California,Indiana, and many other places, Redwood faced legal action for providing false positives, directly affecting individuals' lives and employment (source: Indiana state court records,Illinois state court records,California state court records,kentucky state court records and more). This tarnishes the trustworthiness of the lab and brings their testing protocols into question. 
 
How many people have been sent back to prison,jail,got more time added when in reality they didn't do anything wrong?  

This could happen to any of us and has already happened to several other people. People that have proof they didn't do anything but was so punished because they had a test done at a outside lab. Several people have got their own labs done but they are not being accepted altho Redwood has a history of falsifying their test.

Therefore, we demand an immediate change in lab contracts for community correction drug testing in Seymour, Indiana. The results of these tests have significant implications on the lives of those tested. It is not a matter of mere inconvenience; jobs are lost,family is tarnished and torn apart, reputations are destroyed, and trust is broken.  

We ask that the concerned authorities seriously consider this petition. The quest for justice, fairness, and accuracy in testing should not be a distant dream, but should be reality. Sign this petition today to restore fairness and trust in our community's drug testing process.
