A Community Land Trust set-aside to keep housing permanently affordable.
Storefront guarantees for local businesses at fair lease rates.
Local hire and apprenticeship requirements on publicly funded projects.
Transparency and accountability through public reporting and enforceable commitments.
We welcome investment—but improvement cannot mean removal.
AN ANTI-DISPLACEMENT MANDATE: A full package of protections including a property tax freeze for seniors and low-income families, rent stabilization, and just-cause eviction policies to ensure our current residents are not forced out.
COMMUNITY CONTROL OVER DEVELOPMENT: A requirement for a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) to be signed with residents before any major new development is approved, guaranteeing local jobs, truly affordable housing, and investment in our community.
INVESTMENT IN OUR EXISTING COMMUNITY: The creation of a Legacy Business Fund to support and protect the small businesses we already have, prioritizing their needs over the interests of outside corporations and chains.
