We have a date for the petition to be discussed at a full council meeting next month! The campaign committee will get 5 mins to put the petition to the council. Then the council get to discuss it for 15 mins. We have sent an email to all councillors with attached documents on how the lake could be brought back without prosecution should anything happen. And a way without lifeguards to reduce costs. There are 3 possible outcomes. 1- the council decide to not proceed. 2- the council decide to proceed 3- the council decide that further investigation is required. so 2 out of 3 decisions are in our favour.
