Todd Howard essentially confirmed that the Creation Engine will be used for the Elder Scrolls 6 in a recent interview with GameStar.

Taken from whatculture.com: 'Sadly, when Todd Howard spoke to Gamestar earlier in 2018 - before Fallout 76's divisive reception brought the following quotes to light - he pointed out that going forward, the team will still be using the Creation Engine'.

'Thankfully he did first say that Fallout 76 had been "changed a lot", comprising “a new renderer, a new lighting system and a new system for landscape generation." He then dove into Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, saying more changes will come, but that "we like our editor, it allows us to create worlds really fast and the modders know it really well."'

The Creation Engine is dated. Using it for Elder Scrolls 6 shows pure incompetence and laziness from a company that many of us admired when growing up. It's too late to change Starfield, but if we get enough signatures we can make it known to the company we won't stand for one of our favourite franchises being ruined.
