With the announcement of a novel telling the stories of the cancelled DLC's we are much closer than ever before! Now all that's left is for Episode Ardyn to somehow pull off a "Days-of-Future-Past" and change the timeline for the better, or for the Episode Noctis segment of this novel to expand on and fix the game's original ending itself. And maybe, just maybe, we can expect a resurrected Episode Noctis as either a full-on DLC, or just a special length FMV epilogue for the game to bring this epic installment of the Final Fantasy saga to a close.
